| Saturday June 23rd & 24th _ Miss Belize World at Placencia Lobsterfest |
Miss Belize World was invited to the Placentia Lobsterfest as a presenter
and as a judge in the weighing of the fish that came in from the various
competing teams.
No she did not actually weight the fish but had to check the scale while each fish
was weighed to verify that the weight was correct. Weighing was done on
Saturday June 23rd and Sunday June 24th.
On Sunday besides giving out the awards and prizes, she was aks asked to
choose the winning tickets for all the raffle prizes. At the end of the event she
was awarded a large hand carved fish on behalf of the Lobsterfest organization
and for her participation.
Placentia Lobsterfest Orgnization has extended an open invitation to Pageants
belize future queens to return each year and we accepted.

Board, The Inn at Robert's Grove, Mrs Loretta Palacio, Placencia Lobster
Fest Committee and Pageants Belize.

Miss Belize World has sang in many Kareoke Contests in Belize and won but last nights
performance at the Opening of the Costa Maya Festival with the annual Miss Costa Maya
Pageant was no Kareoke singer. The 22 Year old delegate soon to be representing Belize
at the Miss World Pageant in Sanya, China was celebrated as a true artist with a voice that
held the audiences attention even as she performed her test run of the three songs she
was to sing at the pageant in rehearsals the night before and literally wowed the audience
during the actual event.
Even though she has always been a huge fan of Ana Gabriel music, she had never before
attempted to sing in Spanish until this night and what a voice she has. The Spanish tume
she choose was “Simplemente Amigos” and her other two renditions were “I’m every
woman” by Shaka Khan and the very popular song made famous by American Idol's first
winner Kelly Clarkson, "A moment Like This" Her musical presentation delighted the
audience and San Pedro fell in love witth Miss Belize World _ Felicita Arzu. Many thanks
to the Costa Maya Committee for the invitation to showcase the vocal talent of our Queen.
Miss Belize World is also featured this week in one of our countries leading weekly
newspaper, the Amandala and also in the Reporter.

The Miss World 2007 Final will be held in Sanya, China on
Saturday 1st December.
The contestants will experience the thrills of China during this
one month festival of beauty when they will visit some of the
most famous and historical Chinese landmarks.
Representing Belize is the very talented, intellIgent and goal
oriented 22 year old English Major graduate from the University
of Belize is Suga City beauty, Felicita Arzu. Felicita is currently
in China competing and had her auditions for the talent
competition and in her world, " I killed It!!!!!!!!!!"
Meaning she did an excellent job. There are many talented
delegates this year so she waits not to see if she will compete for
the finals in the talent competition. The winner of the talent
competion automatically fast track into the finals.
